Thailand Day 3

Day 3 !!!
Finally arrived at Phuket...
Had a very very long journey from HatYai to here.
like 4 hours i think.
I slept in the bus like pig again too.

I have very good sleeps and very good digestion as well ^^
Better than in M'sia.
Not sure if its the food here or its me being so carefree and stressfree ^^

This is the hotel i stayed.
Very satisfied with it. ^^

Look at it. 31 *nai nai* road haha.
So cute~

Oh yea, when youre in Thailand, your phone shows you where are you exactly.
Instead of showing Digi/Maxis/Celcom or wateva, it showed Nai nai road haha. ^^
So u wont get lost as well. kewl rite?
Oh btw, this Hotel actually has a Bible!

And its dual-language too! awesome! can read in Thai ^^

I can sleep ALOT better with the bible here.

We went shopping! ^^
Ended up talking to the aunties.
They gave me really really good advice too.

Theres an Auntie from China.
Her life was very miserable back then.
She met her *now* husband when she was like 16 i think.
Her parents didnt allow coz he was poor.
Parents actually hit her until she couldnt walk.
Yeah that bad!
Well, of course our parents will neva wanna see us suffer but hitting her like this is just too much.

Neway, she said that she sees something good in him.
(wat people use to say - blinded by love)
She didnt give up. She tried reasoning to her parents and they finally gave in.

They had around 6 children now. She wanted more than that.
She wanted 10 ! lolx when i heard it i went like *WHAT?* ! lolx
She say she like to cook ALOT and invite everyone to come.
The more the merrier ^^

If its me, i think ill be so broke lolx.
Dah lah cannot really cook, nak jg anak samore. mati aku!
But they are really cute!

I heard when 1 baby start to cry, then the rest will also follow. haha
That means if i were to have 10 kids, then all 10 will cry together.
My roof also jatuh!

So she told me that no matter what you do, you must think clearly.
Not just that, u must feel it with your heart.

Before she got married, she had and still have the feeling that her *now* husband is a very responsible, hard working and a caring boy.
She had faith in him.

She knows that they both will last long and live happily together even if they are both poor.
They worked hard together to earn money for their house and kids.
Now she has 3 houses! all her kids have got their families as well.

So awesome rite?! ^^

She also told me that all the girls must respect their body ^^
Meaning to say take care of ur body and keep your virginity.
Yes it is old-fashioned but sometimes, old fashion ways are better.
Come to your sense and think about it.
Keep it for your future partner.
So when they get mad, they wont turn around and say " You're second handed/ pass-me-downs"

If this msg comes too late for you, well, you gotta work harder to not get into trouble like this ^^
Aunty says when you have a partner, your heart will automatically tell you if that person is good or bad.

Sometimes, you don't even need your heart, one look on the face tells it all.
But of course, don't judge a book by its cover. ^^
Example, girls who goes for manicure and pedicures doesn't mean they are very rich.
or
Guys who don't cut their nails doesn't mean they are lazy and untidy.

Aunty says, " take in advice from the elders and follow your heart coz people may not see what you're feeling and have FAITH"

Just remember to TRUST each other and don't doubt.
Coz if u want your other half to trust you, your other half definitely want you to trust him/her back.
If you both are strong enough to stand against all these bad things that you wouldn't want him/her to do to you... (E.g Cheating!) you guys will be good together.

Oh and i 4got 1 more !
PATIENCE!

She say that couples nowadays do not have enough patience to stand each other's attitude.
Thats y you see lota breakups and divorces.
Everyone has their own weaknesses.
The reason you guys are together is to help each other to strengthen the weaknesses and boost your strengths.

Help each other along the way. Don't just fold your arms and sit on the comfy chair complaining the whole time.

Thats TEAMWORK too ^^

You'll find love !

Thats all i remember. I added up some of them but i have her main points there.
Hope it helps you guys (whoever tat is reading)

Nothing much in the shopping mall tho. just walked around to exercise our legs.
Been sitting the whole time.

Needa charge up energy!!

I've learnt alot about Thailand and even learnt some tips for living my life well.
Its only DAY 3! so much more to learn!

Thailand - Day 2

PHUKET ISLAND!

4 hours i think !
This time, no more karaoke. Just movies.

They played God of Gamblers. 1,2 & 3. Some parts are funny but most of the time its so bored i fell asleep.

What Woman Wants. ^^

Awesome movie! =p
Summary of the show...

What Women Want

Dir: Chen Daming. China. 2011. 116mins

A Mandarin-language remake of the 2000 Mel Gibson blockbuster, What Women Want (Wo Zhi Nu Ren Xin) rarely rises above a genial likability, lacking sufficient comic or romantic brio. This Chinese production features palpable chemistry between stars Andy Lau and Gong Li, but director Chen Daming’s film, like the original, is a great commercial hook in search of an equally clever story.

Gong Li is elegant and sexy in equal measure.

Opening in the US and China on February 3 to coincide with the Chinese New Year, What Women Want will have only modest results domestically in the US, but could prove a hit in its home country, where the two leads are much bigger names.

As in the first film, this new What Women Wantconcerns a cocky, seductive advertising executive named Sun (Lau), who learns that his promotion has been blocked by the hiring of Li (Li), an aggressive new female boss who can provide a much-needed woman’s perspective at the male-centric company. But one night after a freak electrocution at home, he discovers he now has the ability to hear women’s thoughts, which makes him valuable to his firm but puts him in competition with Li.

Keeping the fundamental plot points from director Nancy Meyers’ romantic comedy, Chen Daming’s movie trumpets its relaxed, playful tone, although it does introduce a more magical quality to the question of exactly how Sun acquires his unique power. But beyond the most obvious implementations of his newfound gift – such as having Sun read the minds of those from whom he wants something – the remake fails to exploit this juicy premise for meaningfully comedic or thematic material.

This, coupled with the movie’s broad humour, creates a nagging sense that this amiable offering could have been much more if only it had tried to break free of the original film’s overall design.

Even if this new What Women Want can’t rise above its disappointing sense of déjà vu, at least it’s endowed with two game stars. Lau downplays his character’s chauvinistic tendencies, which keeps Sun from really feeling like a lovable scoundrel, but his slowly developing attraction to Li has its charms. Playing Sun’s cold-as-ice boss who eventually warms to him, Gong Li is elegant and sexy in equal measure. Neither character benefits from much shading or development, so What Women Want’s leads have to do most of the heavy lifting on their own.

Yes, This is Andy Lau. putting on lipstick lolx ^^ Nice movie.

We went and eat DimSum for breakfast ^^ it is RM1.50 1 plate.
The Thailand style is the waitress will put ALL the plates on your table.
So if you dun touch it, they wont charge you.
Plus, this place is famous for Honey Siew Yok.
Tak ngam my taste... too hard and too sweet.
The thing about Thailand food is that if it is suppose to be sweet, then its really sweet; sour then its really sour. no in between.

Then we went of to visit the Islands...

We set off very early in the morning to the small islands around Phang Nga Island ^^
It was very misty that day and shivering cold too!

The scenery is beautiful... altho its just tree, mountains sky and the sea.

The place is so cool and calm... feels like i can fall asleep soundly on the boat.

Its 100 times better than being up the mountain. im afraid of heights! ^^

Alright, the tourist from Thailand is John... he is really really funny! his jokes are cute.
Plus, he thought is some Thailand words and it sounded really really funny in cantonese lolx.
I;ve actually written all of them down. will upload it later ...

This is the Doggy Island... can u see the dog shape there?
Right in the middle... with the ears and waving at you.
Amazing isnt it? =p

This is the 007 James Bond Island ^^
Where the island was boomed and James Bond speed off through this tunnel *kononya* to escape.

The original Video embedded code was disabled, i can only provide you the link.
Just incase u wanna have a look at how awesome it was portrayed in 007 ^^

Behold, The Nail island! =p Where James Bond had his cowboy shoot.

haha just to proof that i was there ^^

James Bond Boomed the island into half lolx ^^
nolah, it was originally like this.

Wonder how it was so perfectly straight and smooth made.

they had stores around the place as well. selling beach stuff too.
Lotta Eurasian went there as well. ^^
They went for a swim around the Nail Island =)
I didnt go tho. just looked around.

The malay villages.

Can you see the small lil cages they put outside the house?
Its to catch fishes and crabs ^^

This 1st picture you see below is a picture i took when we were on the way to the Islands.

The 2nd picture below was taken on the way back after about 2-3 hours.
See the difference? Yeah, the water level went down.

The boats cant go on this side of the sea coz it'll all become sand.

fyi, if the sea is yellowish, its shallow.
If its green, its fresh water from the mountains.
If its Dark blue, dont even try dipping your legs there.
Its very very very deep!

This place have lotta bird nests.

Bird's nest soup is a delicacy[1] in Chinese cuisine. A few species of swift, the cave swifts, are renowned for building the saliva nests used to produce the unique texture of this soup.

The edible bird's nests are among the most expensive animal products consumed by humans. The nests have been used in Chinese cooking for over 400 years, most often as bird's nest soup - WIkipedia.

My own explanation ^^

Bird nests are made of Swallow's saliva.
Neway, they are said to be very healthy ^^ and EXPENSIVE!

This is the normal bird nest you see.
Taste like Jelly but very thin and fine jelly.

Rite, so this is how it looks like . Bird nest soup.

fyi, red bird nest are not coz the Swallow puke blood ^^
Its coz the the Swallows build their nests on red mountains.
When it rains, the colour of the mountain stain on the nests.

On the way back, me, my mom and my aunt discovered and named our own island haha..
Just for the fun of it.

The Elephant Island... Can u see it?
Facing his butt to us ^^

The Gorrila Island. ^^
So huge!
Oh and this is... erm.. can remember who are these two. anyone knows?
Something something Pearl something something lolx. sori~ im very bad at rmbing historical stuff. Comment if u noe who they are ^^ thanks

I bought Kacang(peanuts) and Fried banana.
